2027 Water Awareness Poster Contest Flyer (PDF)
Each year, Rowland Water District (RWD) hosts its Annual Water Awareness Poster Contest to inspire students to think creatively about the importance of water and how we can use it wisely.
🎨 WHAT SHOULD STUDENTS CREATE?
Posters should showcase:
- 💧 Water being used wisely at home, in the community, during recreation, or in the environment.
- 💡 Creative water-saving ideas for the future.
🏆 WHAT’S IN IT FOR STUDENTS?
RWD will award Amazon gift cards to the top three posters in each category! Winning entries will also advance to Metropolitan Water District’s regional poster contest, where selected artwork may be featured in the Water is Life Calendar, traveling art shows, and community outreach materials!
🗳️ NEW! COMMUNITY JUDGING
Posters will first be reviewed and selected by RWD staff. Selected entries will then advance to online community voting to help determine the top winners!
🍎 WHAT’S IN IT FOR TEACHERS?
Teacher Supply Kit: The first 10 teachers to submit posters from their ENTIRE class will receive a teacher supply kit valued at over $100! Supplies are limited, so submit early!
FREE Classroom Art Supplies: Classrooms within the RWD service area may also receive over $100 in FREE art supplies, including a choice of two (2) Crayola products (maximum 35 each). Supplies must be picked up from Rowland Water District upon notification.
