ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA (October 14, 2026) – Rowland Water District (RWD) will host its second annual Discover Rowland Fest on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the District headquarters, 3021 Fullerton Road in Rowland Heights. The free, family-friendly event offers participants a hands-on look at the people, equipment, and work that deliver safe, reliable water to the community every day.
Children and adults alike can explore Touch-A-Truck and Mini Excavator Fun, visit department booths, immerse in a live demonstration of how our water system works, and meet representatives from the Sheriff’s and Fire Departments. The Aquarium of the Pacific on Wheels will be on site, and a kids’ hands-on activity will run from 11 a.m. to noon. Face painting, kettle corn, and a coffee cart from local small businesses round out the day.
“This event holds a special place in my heart,” said Brittnie Gildea, Administrative Analyst for Rowland Water District. “What began as a vision has come to life through the creativity, dedication, and hard work of our talented staff. We are proud to welcome the community and look forward to continuing our commitment to caring for and serving our neighbors.”
Discover Rowland Fest reflects RWD’s guiding commitment to Caring for Our Neighbors and Our Future. The event brings residents together with the team behind their water service and highlights the organization’s investment in the communities it serves.
“Thank you to our team for turning a good idea into a day our neighbors look forward to,” said Tom Coleman, RWD General Manager. “Our crews spend every day bringing water to our customers. This is our chance to bring our customers to us.”
Registration is optional, but RSVPs help RWD plan for giveaways. To register for the event, the hands-on kids activity, and for more information visit www.rwd.org.
