Rowland Water District (RWD) invites the community to its first-ever Discover Rowland Fest on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This free, family-friendly event will feature plenty of great photo and video opportunities to capture guests enjoying interactive exhibits and live demonstrations focused on water conservation. Guests and children of all ages can participate in a variety of unique experiences including the Touch-a-Truck area, getting hands-on with a mini excavator, a reservoir and fix-a-leak hands-on demonstration and watching RWD staff take the plunge in the dunk tank.

The Wyland Foundation’s Mobile Learning Center will be on-site, featuring unique water conservation programming, including a 40-person multi-sensory theater presentation and six interactive learning stations.

Guests can also enjoy two free landscape workshops focused on budget-friendly landscaping and debunking common myths including what plants actually need to thrive and the differences between irrigation methods.
