“In California, we must make conservation a way of life to maximize our available water supply. That doesn’t mean conservation can’t be fun,” Brittnie Gildea, RWD Education & Community Outreach Coordinator, said. “We look forward to offering valuable workshops on water-wise outdoor landscaping for our customers — we appreciate their commitment to making sustainable choices at home.”
RWD is dedicated to highlighting water education in the community and helping residents reduce their water footprint. These workshops allow the District to connect with the public and promote water-efficient landscaping, covering topics such as growing food at home, low-water landscaping and sustainable plant décor.
