September 30, 2025 — Rowland Water District (RWD) is proud to partner in the 52nd Annual Buckboard Days Parade & Festival, set for Saturday, October 18, 2025. After a one-year pause, the parade is returning to Rowland Heights, once again bringing neighbors together for a day of celebration and community pride.

The parade begins at 9:00 AM at Nogales Street and travels along Colima Road before finishing at Rowland Heights Park. Spectators can look forward to marching bands, equestrian groups, classic cars, school teams, and local organizations filling the route with music and energy.

The fun continues following the parade when the Buckboard Festival runs from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Rowland Heights Park, hosted by LA County Parks & Recreation. Families can enjoy food, live entertainment, youth performances, and plenty of activities for kids of all ages.

“I’ve had the honor of serving on the Buckboard Days Parade Board for more than 10 years, and it is a privilege to both support this tradition and represent Rowland Water District in such a meaningful way,” said Brittnie Gildea, Marketing & Social Media Coordinator. “Planning a community-wide parade is something truly special, and I love being part of bringing our community together once again.”

As a long-standing sponsor, Rowland Water District views Buckboard Days as an opportunity to celebrate the connections that make Rowland Heights strong. RWD’s participation reflects its commitment to community engagement and its ongoing role as a trusted neighbor and resource.
